Join Dalton Celebration Singers for an end of project performance where we will be joined by the amazing Dalton Town Band.

Dalton Celebration Singers has been a 10 week pilot project in choral singing led by Ali Rigg. See how many sweet harmonies we have learnt in just a few weeks, with a leader who inspires, and a group that have put their heart and soul into singing.

The group was open access and we welcomed our community to sing together and share in the magic created by united voices. We think you’ll agree what stars they are after hearing them in action!

Dalton Town Band was formed in 1871 when several local bands came together. These included the Parks Mine Band, and the Dalton Bread and Treacle Band. The band remains in demand to play on local bandstands, at Carnivals and fundraising events in the area.

Over the last few years the band have taken concert tours on the near continent, playing at The Menin Gate and on bandstands in Luxembourg, Bruges, Ghent, Valkenburg and Maastricht amongst others.
